I messed around with the new folder options a bit and rearranged my gallery. My mommy bought me a subscription! Unfortunately the gallery stats don't say anything about my scraps folder, but my two most popular pieces at the moment are two very crass drawings I did right when I got my tablet... jeez.

I'm having trouble getting nice pictures of my beadwork for uploading, but it'll happen here one of these days.

I guess I've been busy... let my subscription lapse here and it's such a pain in the butt to sort things out without one. I still haven't done much with my website but my boyfriend put some blog software on there so hopefully I'll feel like writing on it. I haven't been doing much drawing either other then two commissions for my brother, but I have been meddling with my beads again. In my mind there's not much difference to me between making art that I put away in a folder when I'm done and making jewelry that I don't wear... it's all about the creation/production process for me.

My boyfriend bought me a domain and hosting so I am slowly and surely trying to build a website for my doodles. It's been 5+ years since I did any kind of web design so even with the help of Dreamweaver it's still slow going! Plus I have to rescan everything, and that's slow and boring... way more boring then playing my druid on World of Warcraft, which has been taking up a lot of my time recently. Oh owlbearcatcow, why must you be so fun. Feel free to check out the

In other news the boyfriend and I will be attending the Austin City Limits festival which looks like a lot of fun. Lots of big names are going to be playing, a lot of which I haven't heard of but hey a vacation is a vacation, right? We'll even be leaving a day early so we can go visit my mother and give her the birthday gift I got for her a whole month early...

After a few weeks of waiting we finally got a nice scanner/printer/fax machine combination. Now that it's all set up I can scan things and make regular updates again! I'm also going to begin offering prints of pieces that are suitable for it, since dA's print prices are so high and I can do it myself for much more affordable prices. I'll be rescanning a lot of things because I don't have scans appropriate for printing out for many things. Send me a note if there's anything you're interested in that I haven't made note of yet and I'll get it scanned in for you.

I've finally gotten all settled in here in Mississippi. We've ordered a scanner so in a week or two when it arrives I'll be able to post drawings again! Hopefully I'll be able to find a job soon... I've applied at a few places but no luck so far... it has only been a few weeks though so I'm confidant things will pick up soon. Commissions are wide open, and I've got plenty of time on my hands since my boyfriend works during the day, so if you want something done now's the time to ask.

I am also looking to do art trades on a case by case basis so I can have some stuff worth framing to hang up in the new place. Basically, I'll do something really nice for you if you do something really nice for me. My requirements are that it be hand drawn (no CG please) and I am allowed to dictate the color scheme - I'll give you the same considerations of course! PM me if you're interested in arranging for one, and I'll go over your work to see if I like your style enough to hang up in my house.
