Artist's Comments
Base pony was a blank white pony from Hasbro.com. She has been gradient dyed with black Rit dye and rehaired with a blend of Dollyhair's "white chocolate", "tiramisu", and "english toffee". Her coloring is loosely based on that of a silver grullo horse.
This was my first time using Rit dye on a pony and it didn't come out as well as I would have liked - there are several parts of her body that came out much too dark. Since I intended the pony to keep the pony I continued on despite the botched dye job and I'm happy with her over all. This was also my first time rehairing a pony but I found it very easy and fast when using a rehairing tool.
